El olivo (Olea Europea) es una especie típicamente mediterránea, que, junto con la vid, fue introducida en la Comunitat valenciana en la época de los romanos. Todo un símbolo en los primeros hervores de la cultura mediterránea y pilar de su economía gracias al fruto del cual se obtiene el tan preciado aceite de oliva o también conocido como el famoso “oro líquido”.
